Man since he has taken birth has undergone pain of various kinds.There are inumerable number of pains in our life.Most people feel helpless in the jaws of pain and even bewildered by the thoughts of suicide and some also commit it.From this we can understand the delitorious effects of pain.Thanks to those intelligent few ,who know the art of pain management and lead a tension free and happier life inspite of burdensome and busy schedule of their work.Every body has the capacity to overcome any type of pain,because man is born with infinite potential and he has infinite powers of the mind.Managing the mind and applying it in any line of work we can overcome or manage most of our pains.
Source of pain-First we should know where does the pain reside and where from it comes shaking our once beautiful life.The most notorious source of our pains are in our minds.We imagine lot of false projections in our mind and worry about our future and suffer from pain of various kinds.We also regret our past for not achiving anything lucrative and become sad.We forget the present moment,where actually our happiness lies.Worrying over the past and becoming anxious of our future we loose the present moment and put ourself in a sadistic state.Therefore it is advised’act,act in the living present -hearts within and God over head.There is nothing called past and there is nothing called future.Everything is in present.we are thinking of past now and wishing for future now.So the present moment is very vital for us.Taking care of the present we can get rid of most of our worries and anxieties.
Physical pain and emotional pain-we suffer from physical pain at times.For example we suffer from various diseases and various physical ailments like breaking of a leg,a hand,headache etc.These physical pains and diseses can be overcome by taking proper care and various other yogic methods prescribed now-a-days in yoga schools by yoga experts.
The most pecuilliar aspect of our life is emotional pain.There may not be an actual headeche,but we suffer from headache due to our emotional tension.When we become overburden we feel headache and feel tired.Emotionally we become frightened hoping a bad situation in our life or a bad situation that may happen to any of our family members.We develop nervous anxiety and suffer from various physical ailments.So we well undestand by creating positive emotions in our life and always remaining in positive vibrations we can overcome most of our pain and even we can be resistant to most of the diseases.
Happiness and it’s measure-Happiness is an elusive thing.Happiness depends on our mental state and our thought processes.The equation for happiness is-desires fullfilled/desires entertained.Man lives in a cycle of wants-efforts and satisfaction.Simillarly the more number of desires that are fullfilled at a point of time we entertain various other desires.thus we find no happiness although in our life time we fullfill a good number of desires.So reducing the nuber of desires we entertain we can increase the level of our happiness.Desires come from our ignorance.Gaining knowledge we can overcome false and vain desires and thereby increase our happiness
A holistic approach to pain management-We should mantain a holistic life in order to manage our pain.We should be morally sound,pschologically balanced and emotionally matured.this we can do by leading a holy life .Everyday going through the holy texts can give us lot of freshness to work in a better spirit.This can be learnt from spiritual leaders both in western and estern countries.By going through the holy texts we can know how our ancestors were managing the pain in a most delicate manner.In modern age though we have progressed a lot ,we do not know the art of pain management.This is due to lack of spirituality in us and clinging to most worldly pleasures.
Mind teasers-There are a number of mind teasers which erode our energies and make us powerless and we suffer from inumerable pain.These mental teasers are negetivity,anger,irritation,hurt from others,Our feelings of self and others and various other negetive attributes of life.we should be aware of those negetive aspects of life and each thought ,if it is negetive should be repalaced with a contrary positive thought.We should always be positive and think positive thoughts only.that is we should know the art of thought management.
Prevention is better than cure-This concept should be applied to every aspect of our life.Now we are aware that most of our pains reside in our mind.So taking control of our mind in a continuous basis we can overcome most of our pains,either physical or mental.Before the pain actually comes we should know it’s source and prevent it from holding us in it’s jaws and affecting us not only physically,but mentally also.There fore since ages our ancestors have emphasised on this concept.
We understand that pain of various kinds affect us in in an ugly way.It affects our work and even distorts our personality.We should know the nature of pain and should learn the technique of managing it.We all can manage any pain in a better way and thereby lead a beautiful life and by our deeds help others in various ways.We all are electrically vibrated beings and there is infinite source of pleasure in us.So instead of becoming fearful we should manage our pain,by that we can not only make ourselves happy,but also make others happy.
